By keeping the nitrogen in the ammonium form which is less prone to leaching, nitrogen losses can be kept to a bare minimum.<\/p>\n<p>Dicyandiamide is broken down as soil temperature increases. NOxShield therefore releases more nitrogen as the crop requires it.
