OMEX Agriculture has officially opened its new MULTIFLO liquid fertiliser facility at the Port of Dundee.
Following a successful launch event on 27th February.
The ribbon‑cutting was carried out by Mairi Gougeon, Cabinet Secretary for Rural Affairs, Land Reform and Islands, in front of customers, partners and industry representatives.
The day began with breakfast and guided tours of the new MULTIFLO storage tanks, before concluding with the formal opening and an address from OMEX Chairman Max Winkler.
OMEX has operated a 16,000‑tonne liquid nitrogen and sulphur storage and distribution facility at the Port of Dundee since 2018. Working in partnership with site operators Forth Ports, OMEX has now delivered this new state‑of‑the‑art facility to strengthen supply and service for farmers across Scotland.
The new facility positions OMEX’s MULTIFLO and NITROFLO products right on the doorstep of Scottish growers, improving supply resilience across the whole country—not just the Dundee region. The investment enables shorter delivery routes, increased in‑season availability and a more reliable supply of liquid nutrition for farmers nationwide.

MULTIFLO is OMEX’s premium NPKS liquid fertiliser range, specifically designed and manufactured to meet the needs of Scottish cereal, root crop and livestock producers. Technically engineered to maximise yield and crop quality, the range also supports improved nutrient efficiency and optimised fertiliser inputs.
All MULTIFLO grades are 100% water-soluble and include NP, NK and NPK formulations, with sulphur available across the range to enhance nutrient uptake and performance. The products are designed for accurate, efficient application throughout the growing season, offering tailored nutrition solutions for a wide variety of farming systems.
Liquid application also offers practical onfarm benefits; safer handling, single operator application, no bag waste and reduced storage challenges compared with solid fertilisers.
