What Are Urease Inhibitors?
Urease inhibitors slow the conversion of urea to ammonia, keeping nitrogen plant-available for longer. This means less waste, better crop uptake and improved returns from your fertiliser investment.
Since April 2024, UK farmers must use an approved urease inhibitor when applying urea-containing fertilisers from 1st April onwards. Similar requirements apply in Ireland under DAFM guidance.
