Foliar Nutrition
Foliar fertilisation is widely used as a standard practice in many crops throughout the world, and is especially valuable in particular situations:
- When conditions limit the uptake of nutrients from the soil through plant roots
- When the availability of nutrients from the soil is too low
- During short term peak demand, such as periods of rapid growth, or during grain, fruit or tuber formation
Foliar nutrients can also be used to increase the content of essential elements such as zinc and selenium in human and animal food, and to improve general crop health and quality.

SAP® analysis offers a highly accurate and topical assessment of the true nutritional status of the plant.
Whereas conventional tissue testing reports the level of nutrients in a sample, including those locked up and unavailable for growth in cell walls and storage cells, SAP analysis measures only the actual level of crop nutrients available for plant growth. Find out more about SAP analysis, here.
