Maintaining Crop Growth: Water Usage
As temperatures look to soar to high 20’s during the second week of July, we’re advising growers on they key principles they can focus on to promote plant health and encourage growth during extreme heat periods.
Water usage will be key during the heatwave and utilising Kobra which is fully stocked across the OMEX network will provide a key tool in the growers arsenal.

Kobra
Adjuvant RangeKobra is a fatty amine based pesticide wetting and spreading agent. Kobra is highly effective and also improves water penetration in compost and soil.
- Pesticide wetting agent
- Wetting Agent
- Improved pesticide uptake
- Improved foliar nutrition uptake
- Improved water penetration in compost/soil
- Reduced visible residues
Helping Crops Cope With The Next Heatwave: Nutrients
To maintain calcium flow in the plant in between fertigation cycles, consider foliar feeding with CalMax Ultra which actively moves calcium into cells through its pump primer technology.
Growers should also consider synergistically incorporating Kelpak into their nutrition plans via the drip to offer crops a biostimulant boost to combat stress placed on the plants.
